This part of the collection originally had 4 portraits – the knights of Epokaliss. I have since retracted one for personal reasons. I mention this to explain the subject matter of this piece – it shows one of the most important men in my life. I have so much faith in him that even when he’s hard to reach I know there’s a good reason, even though I’d rather be there for him. He’s tried to protect me for whatever he could from the day we made friends and got kicked out of class together.

He can be hard to read for some, but he makes sense to me. I hope this work shows him my thankfulness for having him in my life and that I love him flaws and all.
